Richard’s Supper Stage in Sea Point is serving up a Valentine’s Day lunch and dinner set menu as well as a special edition of ‘Kaapse Stories from the Mother City’.

Whether you’re a born-and-bred local or, like so many-a resident in the Mother City, are from elsewhere but have fallen in love with the vibes, the rhythms, the culture and the people of the Cape – this show, which aims to celebrate the city’s diversity and gives up-close-and-personal insight into its colourful residents, makes for an enriching and entertaining evening. Similarly, the downstairs bistro boasts a menu inspired by local cuisine and flavours, with delicacies like snoek pate, Cape Malay biryani and authentic boerekos on offer.

As an added bonus, patrons who book for “Kaapse Stories from the Mother City”  stand a chance to win spa vouchers, concert tickets and much much more. .

Valentine’s Day Lunch and Dinner at Richard’s Supper Stage & Bistro

Diners can book either a romantic lunch or dinner and feast on a three-course set menu featuring lip-smacking dishes, like a herb salad with a smoked salmon terrine wrapped in smoked salmon served on a crostini as a starter. For the mains, couples can choose between whole roast beef fillet and the baked line fish with baby potatoes and fresh vegetables. Round off this delectable meal with a heavenly dessert: decadent chocolate mousse with Grand Marnier topped with fresh strawberries. Or try your hand at our (in)famous Red Velvet Cupcakes… made to share!

Tickets: The bistro will open from 12pm onwards for lunch and dinner and costs R250p/p for the set menu; guests receive a complimentary glass of bubbles. Those wishing to dine from the a la carte menu are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
